Small Montrouge Console

The Small Montrouge Console is names after a French town that was first mentioned in monastery documents in 1194. It takes a history that sweeping to make age feel so authentic. To help this console table live up to its namesake, we’ve white washed the base and legs that could have been taken from an antique balustrade. We’ve treated the top to a distressed gray finish and wrapped the feet in brass to add a touch of sophistication for which the Parisian suburbs are known. It’s as clever as it is classic with a drawer fitted into the thin rib of wood that supports the top. The Montrouge is offered in a larger console as well.
